Boys cross country at Deerfield has a long tradition of producing life-long runners. The program is an inclusive one in which each boy, regardless of his ability, will receive individualized attention and have his improvements celebrated. We pride ourselves on getting our runners through the season healthy as well as in condition to run their personal bests at the end of the season.
Deerfield is a special place — a fertile valley surrounded by ancient hills and three rivers. The beautiful natural scenery leads to some breathtaking runs, whether they are over the trails on the slopes of the hills, or through the flatter farm fields dotted along the rivers. Seeing the foliage change during our special fall season is an event people drive long distances to see. Couple this lovely splendor with the best sport in the world and you get Deerfield Cross Country.
