Interscholastic Sports

Deerfield maintains a strong and varied athletic program that provides students the opportunity to participate in interscholastic competition at a variety of levels. Teams at all levels play a full schedule of interscholastic games against teams from such schools as Andover, Choate Rosemary Hall, Exeter, Hotchkiss, Loomis Chaffee, Taft, and Northfield Mount Hermon.

Most competitive teams and intramural teams meet at least four days a week with games on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Many Deerfield athletes compete at the regional and national level while at Deerfield and during college. Our athletic features tell some of their stories.

The health of our athletes is important. Deerfield has two nationally certified, licensed trainers. They treat injuries, provide rehabilitation, and attend practices and competitions.
