Recognition Societies

Deerfield recognizes individuals who have made significant donations to annual support and in support of capital projects and endowment. Contributions to any one of the societies listed below will receive special recognition in the Academy’s Annual Report.

Leadership Gift Levels

Green and White
$1-$1,796 (pre-20th Reunion); $1-$4,999

The 1797 Society
Named in honor of the year in which Deerfield Academy was founded, the Society has five levels (Members, Founders Associates, Heritage Circle, Headmasters Circle, and Presidents Circle) which recognize leadership gifts to the Annual Fund.

• Member (not yet 20th Reunion) $1,797-$14,999
• Member $5,000-$14,999
• Founders Associates $15,000-$29,999
• Heritage Circle $30,000-$49,999
• Headmasters Circle $50,000-$99,999*
• Presidents Circle $100,000 and above*

*Includes total giving to Annual Giving, capital projects and/or endowment.
