Wired Projection

  • Turn on the projector via the Power On button on the NEC Remote Control, or the button on top of the projector.
  • Connect the audio and VGA cables on top of the cart to the MacBook.
  • If necessary, turn on and login to the MacBook.
  • Press the Computer 1 button on the NEC Remote Control, or Source on top of the projector.
  • Sound options vary by room:
    • If there is an Anchor Speaker mounted to a cart, turn on the Power switch on the back of the speaker. Use the Volume knob on the speaker control the volume.
    • If there are computer speakers, turn on the Power by either (a) turning the volume knob up or (b) pressing the Power button on the left side of the speaker. Use the Volume knob to control the volume.
    • If there are neither, sound will come out of the MacBook speakers.
    • In all cases, the volume may need to be adjusted on the MacBook and/or in the application being used.
  • When done:
    • Unplug the cables from the Laptop.
    • Turn off Projector by pressing the Power Off button on the NEC Remote Control, or the button on top of the projector.
