Laptop Display (VGA)

VGA and Audio cables can found in the left-hand cabinet under the display (long cables) and in the drawer in the rack under the cabinet (short cables).

  • Plug VGA and audio cables into Computer and Audio ports on the front of rack in cabinet beneath display. Plug other ends into the ports on the laptop. NOTE: Mac users will need a video adapter to connect to laptop.  There are two for loan in the Athletics Office.
  • Press VGA on remote to turn on display and change input to laptop.
  • Volume is controlled via the remote Vol Up/Down arrows and via the laptop and application.
  • When done:
    • Disconnect cables from the laptop and rack ports. Place cables back in cabinet.
    • Press and hold red power button at top of remote to turn off display

Cable Television

Comcast HD service is available in the Stoltzfus Room. Channel line up is available by pressing Guide on the remote control while the television is on and TV is selected on the remote.

  • Press TV on remote control to turn on display and change input to cable box.
  • Use buttons on remote to tune channel, change volume, and view channel guide.
    • Channel Up/Down = change channel sequentially
    • Vol Up/Down = change volume
    • Menu = displays cable menu (e.g., channel guide, HD guide)
    • Info = displays information about program currently being viewed
    • Guide = channel guide
    • Exit = exit displayed content (e.g., program information, channel guide)
    • Arrows = move through menus
    • Circle Center = enter button
    • Last = change to last channel viewed
    • Number Pad = enter channel for direct tuning; press Enter for 1 or 2 digit channels
  • When done:
    • Press and hold red power button at top of remote to turn off display.

Blu-Ray Player

  • Turn on Blu-Ray Player (power button on top left side of player).
  • If playing a disc (Blu-Ray or DVD), press Open/Close button on top right side of player to open drawer and insert disc.  Press Open/Close again to close drawer.
  • If playing an SD Card, open the trap door on front of player to insert the card.
  • Press BluRay on remote to turn on display and change input to Blu-Ray Player.
  • Use control buttons on remote to play, pause, rewind, and fast-forward through video and to control volume.
    • Menu = DVD/SD Card menu will display
    • Number Pad = use number pad to jump to specific chapter
  • When done:
    • Eject disc or SD Card.
    • Turn off Blu-Ray Player.
    • Press and hold red power button at top of remote to turn off display.

HDMI Display (Laptop, Apple TV)

HDMI cable and/or Apple TV setup must be requested from the ITS Help Desk at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Plug HDMI cable into HDMI port on the front of rack in cabinet. Plug other end into laptop.
  • Press HDMI on remote to turn on display and change input to HDMI device.
  • Volume is controlled via the remote and via the laptop and application.
  • When done:
    • Disconnect cable from laptop and rack in cabinet.  Put cable in side cabinet.
    • Press and hold red power button at top of remote to turn off display.

If using Apple TV, ITS will setup device in advance and provide instruction for its use.

Video Camera Display (RCA)

  • Plug RCA audio/video cables into Video port on the front of rack in cabinet beneath display. Plug other end into device to be played.  Cables come with device being used or can be requested from ITS Help Desk.
  • Press Video on remote to turn on display and change input to video device.
  • Volume is controlled via the remote and some devices.
  • When done:
    • Disconnect wires from device and rack ports.
    • Press and hold red power button at top of remote to turn off display.
