DVD/VCR – Small Auditorium

  • On projector remote, press On to turn on projector.
  • Press Video on the projector remote to display the VHS or DVD image.
  • Turn on the sound.  The amplifier is on the shelf below and to the right of the projector.  The Power/Volume knob is at the top right on the front of the amplifier.  When first turned on, leave the volume at a somewhat low lever and adjust up as necessary once the audio begins.
  • If playing a DVD:
    • Move the switch under the DVD player to DVD.
    • Press Power on the left front of the player to turn on the DVD player.
    • Press the Open/Close button and insert your DVD.  Press the Open/Close button to close the DVD drawer.
    • Use the remote to control Play, Pause, FF, Rev, etc.  The remote must be used in the booth and pointed directly at the DVD player.
  • If playing a VHS Tape:
    • Move the switch under the DVD player to VHS.
    • Press Power on the left front of the player to turn on the VHS player.
    • Insert the VHS tape into the player.
    • Use the remote to control Play, Pause, FF, Rev, etc.  The remote must be used in the booth and pointed directly at the VHS player.
  • When done:
    • Press Off on projector remote to turn off projector.
    • Remove media.
    • Press Power to turn off DVD/VHS player.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If no picture:
    • Make sure the projector lamp is on.
    • Check the power cord to the projector to make sure it’s properly plugged in on both ends.
    • Check to make sure Video has been selected.  A second press may be required.
    • Press Pic Mute on the lower left corner of the remote.
  • If you have no audio:
    • Check the power cord to the amplifier to make sure it’s properly plugged in on both ends.
    • Make sure the amplifier is turned on.  Turn up the volume.
    • Make sure the switch is set to DVD or VHS depending on what you are showing.
