Connecting MacBook to Epson Interactive Projector

  • Connect the USB Cable.  One end (squarish end) plugs into the USB port in the black box at the base of the white board.  The other end (rectangular end) plugs into one of the USB ports on the MacBook.
  • If connecting via VGA, connect the shorter end of the VGA/Audio cable (audio cable is noticeably shorter) into the VGA and Audio ports on the black box at the base of the white board.  Plug the other end of the VGA cable into a video adapter and the video adapter into the MacBook’s video port.  Plug the other end of the audio cable into the MacBook’s audio port.
  • If connecting via HDMI, connect one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the black box at the base of the white board.  Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into a video adapter and the video adapter into the MacBook’s video port.

Important Note - When using HDMI for the first time, follow these instructions to update the MacBook audio settings:

  • While connected to the projector, click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences
