Peter Trovato ’01 Honored with the 2011 Ashley Award“You are lucky that Deerfield’s values are so deeply embedded that the community demands of you to follow them,” said Peter Trovato as he accepted the first-ever Ashley Award for Service.
Mr. Trovato was chosen as the first recipient because of his outstanding work as the founder of The Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund, which provides educational assistance grants to the children of Massachusetts soldiers who were killed in Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.
