When: Sunday, October 6th at 1:30pm
Where: Lower levels
Length: 2 miles
For the race, it is recommended that everyone wear white running attire. The colored powder is non-toxic and it will not irritate your eyes and mouth and should wash off easily. The price of the run is $15, and all of the proceeds from the run are going to the Rosenburg Fund for Children in Easthampton, MA, which provides grants to aid children of progressive activists who have been harassed, arrested, hurt or killed in their work, and Chances for Children, an orphanage in Haiti that a few Deerfield students went to this past summer. Sign-ups are going to be during walkthrough lunches until Friday evening, so bring your Greer cards. The first 200 people who sign up get a free pouch of powder that is good for a few throws during the race! All students, faculty, and faculty children are welcome to sign up.
If you would like to volunteer to throw the powder at runners instead of running in the race, email Ali Barber at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see everyone there!
