The Deerfield Delegation left the Pocumtuck Valley on Friday afternoon for the Boston University Model UN Conference. The students travelled under the veteran expertise of Andrea Fleming ’14, who came away with the Outstanding Delegate award in the specialized International Court of Justice. James Chung ’15 won a verbal commendation for his contributions in the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL). Robin Tu ’16, Hatty Wang ’16, Riker Bixby ’15, Olivia Davis ’15, Kay Calloway ’14, and Frederick Hole ’14 each debated eloquently and independently in a host of committees. These Big Green foreign service enthusiasts each researched and completed position papers on global topics in addition to their vocal contributions.
