Robert Hein checks in: “Recovery continues in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. I was able to remain in my house, but lost the garage (literally), had about two feet of water in the basement, and the property was scoured clean and covered in about 4 feet of sand. I hope to have the house and property back in shape by the summer, but I believe it will take a couple of years for the town of Bay Head, NJ and the area to fully get back to normal.”
