Opening Doors, a program created by the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association, and one begun due to student demand for summer internships, is a great way to connect rising seniors with Deerfield alumni. To date, two pilot programs have taken place and reactions from both students and alumni have been fantastic. Internships last a week where alumni expose students to different aspects of their life’s work.
If you are interested in providing a week-long summer internship to a Deerfield student, please contact Mimi Morsman lmorsman@deerfield.edu in the Alumni Office for more information. Participating students need to find their own housing and transportation to participate in the program.
