It’s Starting to Get Cold . . . Think About the Summer!

Believe it or not, now is the time to start thinking about what science-related summer programs you would like to participate in. Last year Deerfield Academy had students learning and working as part of a variety of programs and laboratories. Some examples include: researching in a molecular biology lab exploring possible new therapies for cancer; investigating the end-to-end factors that influence the viability of hydrogen-fuel cell powered cars and working in multiple departments at a hospital learning what it takes to be involved in this segment of the healthcare industry. This work happened at prestigious institutions including: MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton and Imperial College.

If any of this sounds interesting to you, please be sure to contact Dr. Hills or check out the opportunities at the SSRP Moodle. Some of the more competitive programs have deadlines in January so don’t wait!
