On Monday, September 24th, a dedication took place acknowledging the service of two Deerfield Academy brothers, Thomas and Allen Johnson. Thomas and Allen, both B17 pilots, lost their lives within five days of each other while in combat over Germany, in 1944. Their sign is located on the north end of Main Street at the intersection of Routes 5 and 10. See a gallery of photos from the ceremony.Â
