Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving & Development Operations, the Assistant Director of Annual Giving will work as a member of the Alumni and Development team to help reach yearly Annual Giving Campaign goals.
Primary responsibilities include managing all fundraising activities for classes 31-45 years out from Deerfield with emphasis on the 35th, 40th and 45th reunions. Additionally, recruiting and training volunteers to engage their class, identifying and soliciting 1797 society level prospects in assigned classes, collaborating with the Associate Director of Alumni Relations to identify reunion programming for the 35th, 40th, and 45th reunions.
Qualifications should include a Bachelors degree, previous experience in Development or similar industry, ability to work independently, ability to work with both reunion and non-reunion classes to meet Annual giving dollar goals, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to travel up to 20% annually.
