Turning Scraps Into Art

After Peter Krasznekewicz installed The Little White House Project on the Deerfield Campus and at the Emily Dickinson House in Amherst, many wood scraps remained. He proposed an art contest, with the criteria of incorporating the wood scraps and the poetry of Emily Dickinson. The contest was open to the entire Deerfield Community. The winning entries were created by Kevin Tang, Averi Westerman, and Tabata Viso. Their work is currently on exhibit in the Arts Center, on the lower level.
