Lasse Hallstrom, director of films such as Chocolat, The Shipping News, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, My Life As A Dog and most recently, Salmon Fishing in Yemen, graciously agreed to speak to students in DA’s Film Studies class last Friday. “He was incredibly modest, given his considerable achievements in the film industry. We were privileged to have him in class and look forward to his next visit,” said Mrs. Hynds who teaches the Film Studies class.
