The Buttonball Papers 2012, the latest offering from The Deerfield Academy Press, is now available from Mrs. Shelly Futter. The reader will find work by alumni (last year’s seniors) Elisabeth Strayer, Eleanor Parker, Anne Mosley, Grace Murphy, and Alex Ward. The class of 2012 has work by Ritchey Howe, Hadley Newton, Jake Barnwell, Theo Lipsky, and Elizabeth Huebsch. For the first time work is presented in Spanish by senior Fred Quesada and junior Malou Flato, and in French by juniors Holly Taylor and Jules Kerbs. Nolan Bishop and Hunter Sechrest offer fiction pieces. A portfolio of photography by Thomas Earle and art work by Willa Gustavson complete this issue of Deerfield’s exciting humanities journal.
