Last month, the Deerfield Academy Madrigal Choir participated in WGBY’s “Together in Song” festival, featuring 45 different choirs from throughout the region. The festival will be broadcast in 6 episodes shown on WGBY on Saturday evenings at 8pm and 8:30pm, beginning this week. The Madrigal Choir will appear in the episode shown this Saturday evening, March 10, at 8:30pm. Be sure to tune in and watch your fellow students perform. If you can’t watch the premiere, or WGBY isn’t available in your home area, the entire season will be re-broadcast on Saturday, April 7, from 2-6pm. The choirs that receive the highest scores from a panel of judges will be invited to participate in the semi-finals in April. For more information, go to the Together in Song website.
