Jaed Coffin, author and 2009-2010 Wilson Fellow, will be conducting a Meditation Workshop on Sunday, February 19, from 1:00 to 3:00p.m. in the Choral Room. Mr. Coffin is the author of a memoir, A Chant to Soothe Wild Elephants, about his experience as a Buddhist monk in his mother’s native village in Thailand. This spring, he will publish his second book, Roughhouse Friday, about the year he spent as middleweight champion of a barroom boxing show in Juneau, Alaska.
