I know all of you remember my second announcement at lunch on Monday… but do you remember the first one? On February 25 and 26, the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association will be commemorating the 1704 raid on Deerfield, including a reenactment of the raid, which will be held on our soccer fields at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Indian House Museum is offering free admission this weekend, so I hope that all of you take this opportunity to visit and learn more about our rich regional history.
