Tom L’Esperance ’55 reports: Fred Tiley and his wife, Candice, reside in Salem, OR, where he practices orthopedic medicine and conducts forensic examinations. After Deerfield, Fred attended Princeton where he became captain of the football team in his senior year. He attributes his success on the gridiron to Mr. Marr’s “single wing” coaching at Deerfield. As part of a special winter session, Deerfield students visited the Museum of Modern Art and the International Center of Photography in NYC. The trip provided great inspiration and new source material for their photography portfolios.
