HEADlines: Harvest of Honey

How many of you know that a beehive was installed by the greenhouse behind Johnson Doubleday last year?  Having started this apiary project as a freshman, Elizabeth Eastman ’13 just harvested her first bottles of dark gold honey, and presented one to me. I put it in my Greek yogurt every morning, and simply love the taste! Local honey is not only delicious, it is “particularly good for allergies and building your immune system,” Elizabeth reports. Right now, she is looking for volunteers to work with her on this project… Any takers?
