Following on the heels of a successful venture in the summer of 2010, DASAC & KIPP staff made plans for a second annual arts enrichment night in July 2011. Between their dinner and evening study hall, KIPP students took classes from DASAC staff in a host of disciplines, including music, ceramics, photo, and animation–to name a few. DASAC staff volunteered their time to work with this
highly creative and motivated crew, offering them a brief taste of the DASAC experience. We hope this second year has helped to cement a new tradition at Deerfield for summers to come!
