Ed Kaplan ’60 on Mysticism and the Moral Life

On Thursday evening, April 28, in the Garonzik Auditorium, Ed Kaplan ’60 will speak after sit-down dinner on ”Mysticism and the Moral Life:  Abraham Heschel, a religious activist thinker the 20th century.” All are invited to attend.

Ed Kaplan is the Kevy and Hortense Kaiserman Professor in the Humanities at Brandeis University (MA), teaching (and having taught) English, French Literature and Religious Studies.  For the spring of 2012, he recently accepted the post of Professor at the Cardinal Bea Centre for Judaic Studies, at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.  He is scheduled to teach courses on Abraham Heschel and Thomas Merton.
