The Ingenium Academy is a three week long summer school based in the beautifully historic town of Winchester, England.
Talented 14-18 year old instrumentalists and singers from all over the world are encouraged to apply to be part of the Ingenium World Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Ingenium World Youth Choir.
The Ingenium Academy offers its students a unique musical and cultural experience with exclusive tuition from world renowned musicians, performances in top British venues and the opportunity to meet like-minded friends from all over the world within our environment of creative excellence.
During the three week summer programme, students receive top class tuition, rehearse and perform a diverse and challenging array of repertoire and discover new genres of music through our broad range of workshops and activities. In addition to the enriching musical curriculum, students also uncover historical Britain in the glorious city of Winchester and enjoy day trips to nearby London. We immerse our students in a cultural adventure where they will meet and form friendships with other talented young musicians from all over the world.
The heart of The Ingenium Academy lies within in our distinguished faculty, which is comprised of the UK’s finest teachers and musicians. Our team includes names from the Royal Academy of Music, the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and multi-grammy award winning a cappella group The Swingle Singers.
