Network Maintenance: 1/20 & 1/21, 3-3:15am

Network maintenance will cause an interruption in the service that provides access to home and department directories (N: and F:). Downtime will be brief and take place during the night at 3a.m. on Thursday and Friday. This interruption is expected to last no longer than 15 minutes.

Zazen Study Group at Deerfield Academy – January 17

All are invited to join in Deerfield Academy Zen Study on Monday, January 17, 6-7:30pm in the Deerfield Room. Classes are taught by Mr. Daikan Bastien and will include study of the Heart Sutra and the practice of Zazen. Please contact Mr. Flaska with questions.

Uruguay Group to Sell Croissants MLK Day

The group that went to Uruguay summer ’09 will sell croissants during the morning break of our MLK celebration. All proceeds will benefit the orphanage where they did community service while there.  Come help the children!

Deerfield’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

The schedule for Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day activities is posted below. A morning of student presentations and community break-out sessions is followed by a performance by a highly regarded troupe of musicians and actors from Denver, CO, who will take the audience on a multimedia journey through the civil rights movement.

Found: Water Bottle (See Photo!)

Found this artful aluminum water bottle in the Choral Room…. but it can be claimed in the Communications Office in the Koch Center (across the hall from the Help Desk).

We are opening application for the Deerfield Scroll 2011-2012 editorial board. Again this year, we will work with a smaller board and six-page issues. We are aiming again for a closer, more cohesive, more focused group, with closer ties to all members of the Scroll and more enjoyable extra-curricular experience.
