The editors of Albany Road will holding a coffee house outside, in front of the memorial building on Halloween night, directly after sit-down. There will be jack-o-lanterns, smores, candy, and costumes. Readers will be reading scary stories and poems that either they or someone else has written and will be declaiming by flashlight. Bring blankets and friends, and get warm on the benches or by the fire as you listen to your peers share their own or someone else’s work. Rain Location = Mem lobby.
Also, the magazine is accepting submissions for the Fall issue. Pieces can be poetry or prose of any length, or art submissions. Email them to etaft@deerfield.edu or amoorhead@deerfield.edu and send art pieces to rlevy@deerfield.edu.
