The KIPP STEP (Knowledge is Power / Success Through Enrichment) summer program at Deerfield has just wrapped up three great weeks of scientific exploration, team-building–and more. The program takes place each July and exposes middle school students from schools nationwide to rigorous academic studies–particularly in the sciences and language arts–taught by KIPP and Deerfield teachers.
