Andrea Moorhead, French language instructor and Deerfield Poet-in-Residence, has been invited by the Council of International Francophone Studies to read some of her French poetry along with three other poets of the Americas at the 24th Congress of the CIEF (Conseil International d’Etudes Francophones) on July 1, 2010, at the Delta Centreville in Montreal, Quebec. The four poets along with a jazz group will present a soiree from 8 to 10 pm. The other three poets include the well know feminist poet Nicole Brossard of Quebec.
